Window Blind Options

There are many types of window blinds, and most can be motorized for safety and ease of operation. Here are some of the more common window blind styles:

Wood Horizontal Blinds
These are typically made of basswood in a translucent stain or opaque paint finish in 3 slat sizes. Exotic woods like oak, zebrano, teak, bamboo, cherry, maple and walnut are available. Custom coloring as well as decorative tapes and leather wrapped hardwood are available.

Faux-Wood Horizontal Blinds
These come in solid color or woodgrain finishes in 2 slat sizes. This product is designed for high humidity or lower cost situations, but they are heavier and less stable than real wood blinds.

Vertical Blinds
Vinyl vertical blinds are durable, good insulators, and are extruded in a wide variety of colors and "fabric-like" texture. Fabrics are available. Genuine wood verticals coordinate with horizontal wood blinds.

ADOWrap
This is a fabric slipcovered vertical slat blind that pivots and draws with a sheer fabric overlay which is removable for laundering. ADOWrap blinds are offered in multiple fabric styles and colors.

Aluminum Horizontals
These are available in 3 slat sizes, with solid, pearl and metallic finishes.

Wovens
These are blinds constructed in natural reeds, grasses, wood, hemp and bamboo to bring a unique window covering to your interior. Light filtering and room darkening liners are available. Wovens come in several blind styles and gliding panels.
